Portal 2 is a bit darker in terms of story, with GLaDOS. With ratman’s writing on the walls (THE CAKE IS A LIE), GLaDOS’s quotes, but it isn’t that bad. Portal 1 is pretty dark, but not too dark. I’ve loved the portal series for ages! Valve is an amazing developer, but their games aren’t usually for younger children. It also has two good songs at the end (Want You Gone, Cara Mia Addio) but there are some things you would want to know before getting it for your child. It has good humor,a good gameplay style, and amazing characters. In my opinion, portal 2 is one of the best games made.
